Our bread is supplied by the Allendale bakery and we have deliveries on Monday and Friday – be quick, it’s still warm when it gets here and it doesn’t hang around very long! We are the sole supplier of this superb artisan bread in Hexham.

We sell delicious Monmouth coffee which is sourced from small producers in Kenya, Brazil and Guatemala and blended by Monmouth at their London roasting house; we think this is the best tasting coffee around.  If tea is your preferred tipple, we stock Storm blends- a local supplier whose tea is first class; we stock traditional English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey, Darjeeling and the more unusual Jasmine Pearls which we import from China.  Our tea and coffee can be bought as a drink to take away, sit in upstairs and enjoy the view, or to take away and brew at home.

We now also stock a large range of Ringtons tea, coffee, and biscuits. Ringtons is a local institution and is a very popular Newcastle producer.

Jayne, Jo (our cook) and Robyn are always busy baking; so why not try a piece of lemon drizzle cake, Guinness cake or the irresistible malteser tray bake. If scones are your preference, choose from cheese or fruit, and we can always add butter and jam.  Talking of which, we have jam to impress – Pear & Ginger, Summer fruits with Pimms or Morello Cherry with vintage Port as well as vintage marmalade and delicious lemon curd.  Local honey is supplied by Willy at Chain Bridge Honey Farm but we also have Heather Hills Honey from Scotland and a new local company The Travelling Bee.
